WOYWW 51: Christmas Cookies 2010

2010 Create With Joy Christmas Cookie Sampler 1
This week, Prince Charming and I have been creating Christmas delights for our family and friends!

2010 Create With Joy Christmas Cookie Sample 2
We have baked five wonderful cookies so far:
  • Buttered Rum Meltaways (so delicious!)
  • Cranberry & Oatmeal Cookies (so healthy!)
  • Rum Balls (brings back sweet memories!)
  • Snow Balls (a family favorite of Prince Charming!)
  • Stained Glass Snowflakes (filled with translucent candy centers!)
We're now working on our Holiday Sugar Cookies. You can see a few of the shapes we've created by peeking at the cookie cutters.

Wilton Makes The Most Comfortable Cookie Cutters!
If any particular cookies catch your eye, let me know and I'll post the recipes as soon as possible. As you can imagine, time is a precious commodity at the moment!

Now, I want to wish you a very special Christmas! I've been WOYWW'ing for close to a year now and I truly look forward to your visits, comments, and posts each week!

Most of you know the way to Julia's (she's the one who knows who's naughty or nice on the link list each week!) but - before you go - here are my two "must visit" posts of the week:

Tsunami's New Friend
Variations On Pachelbel's Canon

Enjoy your holidays and I look forward to seeing you next week!

  1. I didn't eat properly today, so I'm really hungry, now. I could sure go for some of those cookies. And before I go to bed, I MUST see the variation on Pachelbel's Canon. Lovely Christmas post and so thoughtful of you to find me this week without the aid of Mr. Linky.

  10. I'm a fan of the stained glass cookie...my family always requests them. My cutters are small, though, and it's always a struggle to get the holes cut out so that the rest of the cookie hangs together. You've inspired me to get bigger cookie cutters!
