Mister Naughty Pants Is Back!
I’d like to address a somewhat serious topic on today’s edition of What’s On Your Workspace Wednesday. It involves my beloved Legend. As many of you know, Legend recently hijacked my blog and wrote a post that intimated my workspace wasn’t all that it could be. He got all machismo on me and tried to “tough love” me into cleaning up my act. After reading his post, I had a sense of how celebrities must feel when their family members air their dirty laundry, then sell their sordid tales to the tabloids.

Caught In The Act
I'm sure many of you can imagine how I must have felt when I read that post. In the interest of caring for my cat and restoring pride to Coonland, however, I swallowed my pride and cleaned my desk this weekend. At least part of it. Among other things, I gathered most of my loose-floating art supplies and corralled them into a temporary holding box.

Nosing Thru My Stash
Which brings us to today’s photos. As much as it pains me to say this – I'm beginning to wonder if my precious Legend is a bit of a klepto! It seems like lately, every time I turn around, he is poking his nose in my craft box, looking for something new to run off with! One moment I caught him tossing things aside like he was digging for gold. The next I caught him running off with a bag full of ribbon and bling! It doesn’t matter if I catch him in the act or pick him up and set him aside – he just gets right back at it! There is no limit to his boldness. I think he wants me to keep my supplies organized to enable his habit!


I know you're concerned. I promise to get him help. I will fill his days with catnip and non-scrappy toys. I will keep the alcohol ink under lock and key. Together, we can kick this habit!

    Had to smile ... Legend would fit in so well with my ones ...so often a cat is seen disappearing with a length of ribbon or a bottle of stickles appears on the stairs ...dont you just love them.xx

    Isn´t it cute the way our cats want to create with us...I mean my cat sits and watches me paint and when he hears me open my studio door he comes RUNNING and talks a blue streak. A work area needs a cat...I think cats were all artists in one of their prior nine lives.

    Love that pussy cat. My little girl has an interest in craft too, but she also has a wider interest in cupboards, and is in the process of opening one in the room as I write. I've had to fit bolts on several cupboards to prevent her from emptying the contents on to the floor.

    So funny - clearly Legend is determined to get in on the crafting act :) Bonnie, The Boss, prefers to sit on my worktop and supervise or, failing that, sit in front of the computer screen,thus preventing me from seeing what I'm typing - she has her ways of getting my undivided attention.     Ribbons and Bling you say. Are you keeping tabs on Legend after the midnight hour? His not sneeking out to the local night club is he and using these items to help pull the ladies!!!
    No photos of the persian trio again as my desk was taken at 2am and when I went down camera in hand to the UT room and switched the light on you have never heard such language spat out!!!
    A hasty retreat was in order. Poor wimpey boy is behind the washing machine again as naughty Wrapper showed him the post card from the vets saying his jabs are due this month.

    I am not letting my "Princess P" see this. She's an elder lady and normally is no trouble at all, but lately she's been doing a little klepto action herself. At this time it is centered on her "cat toys" that I thought were tucked out of the way. I will watch my personal belongings with a closer eye just in case she takes a cue from your Legend.

    To funny! One of my dogs loves rooting around my craft room...so much that I have to keep a baby gate up when we are not home. My floor is often litterd with bits of painted tissue paper that Sadie sucks up like a vacuum and then my husband says she has colorful poo! hahaha

    They say a picture is worth a thousand words but your ab libs are a worthy match for Legend! Besides he loves the pubilicity and fan mail his pictures create. The comment section grows with each edition, and I can understand why. This is one blog that can chase the blues away and force you to smile in spite of yourself!!!
