WOYWW 44: What's Legend Watching?

Legend, My Crafty Coon, Faithfully Supervising My Work
Today it's time for another edition of What's On Your Workspace Wednesday, and the question on everyone's mind is: What is Legend watching so intently on my desk?

Textured Cardstock Is Great For Distressing And
Adds Visual Interest To Your Projects
It appears he's amazed to see so much paper crafting happening in The Paper Palace after October's lull! My motivation? I'm participating in Creative Every Day's Art Every Day Month Challenge - and it would be fabulous if you joined me too!

Here are a few of the projects I'll be working on this month.

Be Yourself - My First Altered Torso Tag
Back in August, I created my first Altered Torso Tag and loved it - so much so, I've been wanting to design with these pieces ever since!

Stretch Your Cardstock By Thinking Before You Cut!
So, I spent Sunday afternoon cutting torsos out of the 3 x 6 strips of Bazzill Bling Paper you see above. I positioned the free Mirkwood Designs template at the bottom of the paper and cut equal sized strips out of the remaining scraps of paper. If you're wondering what that is about...

Transparencies Are Clearly A Creative Crafting Choice
I'm kicking off the week with a little challenge I created for myself. Yesterday I took four of the strips, sketched a card layout, and added a few items (flowers, ribbon, transparencies, and embellishments) - to create a bright and cheery celebration card. Today I used the same layout and embellishments to create a very elegant baby card - click here to see the card and the tutorial that goes with it!

Which Colors Will I Choose For My Next Card?

I'll also be posting the first of my Altered Torsos shortly. The design of this torso was influenced by Gingersnap Creation's Focused On Fabrics theme of the month!

Now, if all of these ideas - or all of your blog hopping - has made you hungry, be sure to check out my Blueberry Buckle recipe before you go!

And, be sure to stop by Friday when I'll be sharing some fabulous Tsunami photos for Furry First Fridays - an awesome place to feature your fur angels!

Want to see what other creative souls around the globe are working on today? Julia's Stamping Ground is the place where to be every Wednesday to get your WOYWW-on!

Have a wonderful week everyone - I can't wait to read your comments and to visit your blogs this week!
