November Is Art Every Day Month


Notice The Interplay Of Colors On This Card
This November, I’d like to challenge you to get your creative juices flowing and join me in Creative Every Day’s Art Every Day Month Challenge! For the eighth year in a row, you are encouraged to create something new each day during the month of November, whether it’s art, crafts, writing, cooking – you can make whatever you like! The challenge is designed to inspire you, so it’s okay to miss a day along the way – just have fun! If this sounds like something you’d like to do, click here to join the fun!

To kick off Day 1 of this festive occasion, I created this celebration card! I came up with the idea for the design when I was working on another project, which I’ll share more about in this week’s WOYWW post. The background is made up of scraps that are left over from the paper I used for that project (I was feeling particularly frugal that day!) Since I don’t usually work with bold, bright colors, I challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone by experimenting with this color scheme. In the end, I had tons of fun playing with these colors and creating a very happy card!
