WOYWW 37: New Stamps & Exciting News

smARTworks Stamps

This Wednesday, what's on my workspace are stamps, stamps, and more stamps! Last week, I learned that smARTworks is having a 70% off sale on all of the stamps in their old catalog and I went a little wild when I discovered exactly what that meant! One of the things I like about these stamps is the packaging. I like that they indivually wrap their unmounted rubber stamps and provide pictures of the images and sentiments for convenient storage and retrieval. Nothing drives me crazier than a bunch of loose stamps - rubber or acrylic - without any packaging or images. I don't have time to stamp images for the sake of indexing and I don't like worrying about stamps being lost or eaten by the fur angels!
Unmounted Rubber Stamp Storage Tins

I store my unmounted rubber stamps in recycled tins (Maya Road, K & Company) and recyled Stampin Up clamshells.

Now, I have some exciting news to share. For the week of September 18th, I will be a Guest Designer at Elephantastic Challenges as part of my prize for winning last week's Remembrance/Sympathy challenge! I am so excited and honored - this will be my Design Team debut! So, I hope you'll stop by this weekend to check out my card - I will be able to post it on Saturday, once it is posted on the challenge site!

Now, to see what's new in the art community, visit Julia at Stamping Ground. She is the WOYWW hostess with the mostess!

  6. Congratulations!! I'm excited for you. I looked for (or was it stalked) your blog post early yesterday morning, but saw your post wasn't published.

Those are some really lovely stamps. I especially love the Fornasetti woman (center bottom). I've seen those tins before, but never realized where you get them. Clever, clever you.

    Sorry I'm late visiting.
