A few weeks ago, I had the good fortune of discovering The Inner World Of Emma's Bears. My timing was impeccable - my visit occurred in the midst of a giveaway for these precious bears!

Their Fur Was Dyed From Brown & Red Onions - Hence Their Names!

Emma chose Cuthbert & Molly, the Onion Skin Twins, to celebrate her current pregnancy. Guess who won first prize - and her pick of the bears - by correctly guessing that Emma is expecting a boy?


The Onion Dying Process Is Odorless & So Are The Bears!

As you can imagine, choosing which charmer to adopt was challenging. The decision reminded me of adopting a kitten - you just don't want one, you want them all!

At first, I thought that I would pick Sweet Molly. After all, she's pink and she comes with her own jewelry. In my world, it doesn't get much more fabulous than that!

But Cuthbert - oh that Cuthbert. He kept staring at me with that sweet face and those soulful eyes. He even tried to win over Prince Charming. When asked, my husband said, "Pick the boy!"

Bye Bye, Australia. US & Lithuania, Here We Come!

So, sad as I was to separate the twins, in the end - Cuthbert stole my heart! He arrived from Australia in a record-setting three days and instantly made himself at home in The Paper Palace. He now spends his days watching over me as I craft and blog - he loves his new home!
