My Guest Design Team Card For Ellephantastic Challenges

Criss-Cross Card
Happy weekend everyone! Today, I'm excited to unveil my very first Design Team card ever! As part of my prize for winning Ellephantastic Challenge's recent Remembrance/Sympathy Card Challenge, I was offered the chance to design a card for Ellephantastic's Week 12 Challenge: Handmade Flowers. I thought a Criss-Cross card would be the perfect choice to highlight the crocheted flower I used on the card!

Once thing I love about Criss Cross cards is that opening them is like opening a gift - you never know what's waiting inside! For this card, I designed a note card with lots of space for jotting a message to a friend - but you could also use the pocket to enclose a recipe or a gift card - the possibilities are endless!

Note Card Enclosure
Here are the products I used to create this card:
  • Stampin Up Taken With Teal Cardstock and Classic Ink (Distressing)
  • Stampin Up Porcelain Prints Patterned Paper
  • Stampin Up Pewter Brads
  • Stampin Up Organdy Ribbon – Sage Shadow Green
  • CTMH Ocean Dye Ink Ink (Interior Stamping)
  • CTMH D1284 With Love (border and heart stamps)
  • Sweet N Sassy 1077 Be Blessed (sentiment stamp)
  • McGill Mini File Tab Punch
  • Handmade Crocheted Flower
  • Bling Brad
The Tab Makes The Card Easy To Slide Out
I'm participating in these challenges:
I'm also sharing my card at these sites:
Have fun exploring and seeing what everyone is up to this week!

  2. What a beautiful card! I just love criss cross cards too! I recently learned how to make them and I agree about pulling out the card, it's like a surprise and I love how you decorated with swirls and an oh so sweet sentiment! I also love your crocheted flower, my mom makes them for me to use on my cards. Thanks for sharing this little beauty with us in the Tea Room!
