Thank You Peacock Card

Several weeks ago, my friend Anna sent me an envie full of die cuts. I love peacocks, so my eye was immediately drawn to this beautiful image with its paisley wing and its intricate feathers! I started to put together a kit of coordinating items to play with on a day when my desire to create was running high, but my mojo was running a little low. Today, I pulled out that kit and decided to make a Thank You card, using some current challenges for inspiration!

For the Heart 2 Heart Challenge, I added a touch of color and stitching via the lace to the edge of the card. I also used CTMH's D1247 From Me To You stamp set and CTMH Olive Dye Ink to add the sentiments Thank You to the exterior and For Your Friendship to the interior of the card.

For the Pocket Full of Posies Challenge, I included yellow flowers with CTMH Bigger Brads since they require you to combine flowers with their current theme.

The card also features dewdrops and patterned paper from Stampin Up.
