All Occasion Prettiness From Basic Grey

Two things I can never get enough of when it comes to crafting are hearts and flowers. I love them in all sizes, shapes, and patterns. I love what they stand for. I love that they bring smiles to our faces. I love that they add beauty to our lives and uplift our spirits.

This is the first card I've created from the Basic Grey Bittersweet Kit I dug out of my paper cabinet a few days ago. Although it appears that the kit was designed with Valentine's Day in mind, for my purposes, I want to give the cards a more universal appeal. So, I've been playing with various elements, choosing the ones that I like, and saving the rest for another day. For this card, I eliminated the chipboard message and added the pretty cord, Maya Road flowers, and Basic Grey pearl. I can now use the card as is, or go back when I'm ready and add a custom message that is tailored to the specific person sending it to.

It's always fun to incorporate some challenges into the cards, so here are the ones I worked with today:
