Wow, it's hard to believe another Wednesday has rolled around and it's time to head over to Julia's and see what on all of my What's On Your Worksdesk pals are up to! Since I'm on the tail end of the time zone, I've already peeked at Julia's post and I am excited to see that on June 2nd, WOYWW will be a year old, and Julia is issuing a creative challenge! She wants us to make something that will beautify our workspace and feature the WOYWW acronym - how cool is that? So, I'm looking forward to participating in the challenge, and seeing everyone else's creations as well!
Now, last week I promised you more than kittens, so let's get started! Earlier this month I received a package of fabric to make ATCs with. These are the cards I have made to date! My favorite ATC is Pure Joy, which features an image of Marilyn Monroe I really love. Can you tell it's from a cocktail napkin? The fabric in U & Me reminds me of our WOYWW background. And the Cutie Cat card reminds me of this little ditty that a friend of mind used to sing all of the time:
Fish heads, fish heads,
Tiny little fish heads,
Fish heads, fish heads,
Eat 'em up, yum!
I know. Sometimes we find amusment in the strangest of things!
I love discovering new blogs and recently, I came across Jan Hennings of Papercraft Pleasures while exploring entries at a challenge site. While there, I entered her candy contest and while I was not the winner, she was kind enough to send me these goodies for being her latest follower. Wasn't that sweet? Be sure to visit her and let her know I sent you!
I also received two lovely ATCs in the mail - Welcome Spring from Jean Taylor, a talented ATC artist from ATCs R Us, and Bloom Spring from Kate Leopold of Letterplay. Kate was the winner of my recent Good Eggs Giveaway and she created her ATC using goodies from her prize package!
Now, last week I mentioned that I was participating in an Organizational Blog Hop! After you share your thoughts on today's WOYWW post, be sure to stop by and see my article on Ink Pad Storage, then have fun hopping to all of the organizational and WOYWW sites!
Have a wonderful Wednesday and a creative week!
